Case #2

Many times certain patients will require multi-disciplinary treatment. In this case, both orthodontic treatment and restorative and cosmetic porcelain veneers are needed to achieve the end result desired by both Dr. Singer and his patient. This patient was entering the high expectations and high stakes career field of investment banking in a top NYC firm where confidence and reassuring appearances can be very important.

This patient disliked his overall smile line that was disrupted by slightly enlarged central incisors that appeared dramatically different next to his two slightly smaller lateral incisors. He was also displeased with the diastema (a space usually in between the two central incisors). A diastema is a dental condition that is generally considered unattractive and that occurs in various people due to genetics. It can easily be treated with a quick laser surgery procedure to detach the upper anterior frenum (restrictive mucous membrane on the upper lip and gum on the midline) and/or orthodontic treatment.
