Laleh, Patient Treatment Coordinator

Essential to our commitment to provide each patient with an excellent customer experience, Laleh dedicates all her time and resources to working directly with patients on their treatment plans. She is a seasoned dental professional with many years of practical hands-on experience, including chairside assisting. She ensures that our patients and Dr. Singer understand each other and agree on all phases of treatment. Laleh is our patients’ advocate, ensuring they know that we see them as unique individuals. Due to Laleh’s extensive experience, she is capable of answering questions or concerns and alleviating any fears about treatment.

Originally from Vienna, VA, Laleh earned a BS in Biology and participated in the DDS program at Marymount University. Laleh is greatly satisfied by her work at DC Smiles due to the innovative, creative, and comprehensive dentistry we offer. Laleh’s love for the field of dentistry, talent, high energy, professionalism, and interest in health make her a vital part of our practice. In her free time, she plays a variety of sports, including martial arts.

Joni, Administrative Liaison

Joni helps make treatment affordable to our patients by explaining the financing opportunities available. She assists in the application process and answers any questions. Joni has extensive experience in the dental field and extensive knowledge in the business of dental insurance. She served in the US Navy where she also attended the school of dental assisting. Joni has continued to expand her knowledge in the dental field through continuing education.

Joni loves the quality of treatment DC Smiles provides and is dedicated to ensuring all our patients can reach their goals with wise planning. Joni is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and enjoys being part of a professional, dedicated, and fun team. Her problem-solving skills and attention to detail make Joni an excellent fit. Joni hails from Stafford, VA and loves yoga and running with her dog in the trails.

Gerry, Dental Assistant

Gerry provides experienced, gentle, and thorough chairside care to our patients. With over ten years of experience and continuing education, Gerry is a treasure to DC Smiles, as well as to our patients. She received her training at Northern VA Community College and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, i-CAT 3-D imaging, and oral sedation. She highly enjoys her work at DC Smiles due to the ever-challenging treatment plans and the innovative ways in which we are able to restore aesthetics and function for our patients.

Gerry enjoys a high-energy lifestyle and is constantly developing her talents at work and in other aspects of her life. Her love of assisting, her ability to transform our patients, her finesse with her hands, and her outgoing personality are admired by our patients and the rest of the team. Gerry stays healthy and fit by dancing and running.

Marlene, Dental Assistant

Marlene is professionally trained as a dentist in her native country of Bolivia. Her passion for dentistry shows in her extensive, in-depth knowledge of dentistry and in the way she cares for and talks to her patients about their procedures and diagnoses. Her experience and knowledge make her Dr. Singer’s right hand. She’s passionate about treating edentulous patients with dental implants and is highly interested in the latest surgical and orthodontic techniques. Her certifications include Advanced Life Support, i-CAT 3-D imaging, and oral sedation.

Marlene is from Arlington, and her commitment to learning and developing her skills in the dental field make her a wonderful fit for DC Smiles. Her warm and outgoing personality ensures each patient has an outstanding dental experience. Marlene plays soccer and stays fit and limber by practicing yoga.
