Laser Dentistry

Dr. Singer uses the FDA-approved Waterlase dental laser for gum re contouring, biopsies, endodontics, periodontal therapy, and other surgeries. The Waterlase does not generate heat, vibration, or pressure, the primary causes of pain from a dental drill, so laser therapy is more comfortable than traditional drilling or surgery.

Using the Waterlase for gum procedures reduces bleeding, post-operative pain, swelling, and, in many cases, the need for pain medication. Dr. Singer can remove tooth enamel decay, as well as bone and gum tissue, while leaving surrounding areas unaffected.

Laser cavity preparations offer increased bonding strength of tooth-colored restoration, which, in turn, increases the longevity of fillings. The Waterlase is extremely versatile. It can be used for a wide range of hard and soft tissue procedures.
