Adrian had lost all of his teeth due to unfortunate hygiene, prolonged neglect and stress. At his young age it was possible to perform an advanced and expedient treatment involving numerous implants that would restore his youthful profile, facial structure and preserve the bone density in his mouth. This solution may not have been most suitable for Adrian if he had allowed his dental condition to progress into his later years. Dr. Singer worked closely with Adrian in identifying his immediate needs and anticipating his long term dental prognosis. In Adrian's case it was important to rebuild his dentition in a way that would provide stability and longevity as well as impeccable esthetics.
In the pictures above, the teeth towards the back of Adrian's mouth on his upper and lower jaws, otherwise known as the molars, are individual titanium implants and four unit porcelain bridges that will help to secure his bite and withstand considerable use in the years to come.
Essentially, these new implants and molars will function, look, and integrate as well as natural teeth both enhancing Adrian's smile and preserving it.
Adrian's anterior teeth, otherwise known as incisors or front teeth, are actually two all porcelain three unit bridges spanning from the right side central to the right side canine with the middle tooth (lateral
incisor) designated as the pontic. Dr. Singer duplicated this same solution for Adrian's left side upper incisors and for the entire lower jaw as well.
So at the end of his treatment Adrian had four implanted three unit all porcelain anterior bridges (two on each jaw) and sixteen implants with four all porcelain four unit bridges functioning as molars.
Quite a restoration!
