Next Generation i-CAT - The Best in Cone Beam 3-D imaging - The Standard of Care For Implant Placement.

In-office state-of-the-art three-dimensional imaging is quick, convenient and now available at DC Smiles- NOVA Maxillofacial and Dental Imaging Center.

DC Smiles is proud to announce that in-office imaging is now available at DC Smiles. We have taken another step toward delivering a better patient experience in diagnosis, treatment and overall delivery of care. i-CAT cone beam 3-D dental imaging and software has revolutionized how much more accurate and faster dental implant surgery can be. The i-CAT Cone Beam 3-D Imaging System produces immediate three-dimensional images of the patient's oral anatomy typically in under 30 seconds. The 3-D Data is used for implant planning, third molar extractions, impactions, TMJ analysis, supernumeraries, airway assessments, panoramics and cephalometrics (ortho). The 3-D imaging allows Dr. Singer to "virtually" place dental implants. The 3-D images take all the guessing out of the procedure resulting in better success rates for patients since Dr. Singer is better equipped to identify the ideal locations for placing the implants. The restoration(s) can be prepared in advance allowing Dr. Singer to plan treatment taking into account the anatomical scene as well as the esthetic outcome.

The i-CAT, the leader in Cone Beam 3-D Dental Imaging, provides high-definition, digital imaging with less radiation to the patient and a typical scan time of only 8.5 seconds. The i-CAT's computer controlled software delivers quick and easy reconstruction of critical anatomical information typically in under 30 seconds.

The i-CAT gives Dr. Singer your complete anatomical information on bone and pathology prior to surgery resulting in less trauma, less time in the dental chair and predictable surgical outcomes.

The anatomically accurate i-CAT images allow Dr. Singer to have surgical guides fabricated. These guides are made of resin and metal and are set on the jaw to guide the doctor in placing the implants. These 3-D images allow for optimal treatment planning and chances for success.

With i-Cat technology, you and the doctor can see images of yourself chair-side in a format you can understand. You and Dr. Singer can discuss the images and treatment plan right away.
