One of the most recent medical breakthroughs, BMP-2 is an FDA-approved protein with the ability to regenerate bone tissue that helps patients avoid bone loss after tooth removal, as well as re-grow bone for implant placement. Because BMP-2 eliminates the need for grafts of bone tissue harvested from the chin, hip, or jaw, patients experiences less pain, and dramatically sorter healing times. Delivered through a collagen sponge that melts over time, the BMP jumpstarts cell growth naturally producing new bone.
